Aggrend says a dungeon XP bug is being fixed. Kill XP was based on the highest-level player in the group and will now use your own level. Together with a 20% boost to dungeon kill XP, this should put dungeon leveling close to optimal questing, but Blizzard won't let dungeon cleaving become the best way to 60.
Kaivax posts the forum thread for WoW: Forever Podcast episode 3, a dungeon-focused chat with the developers featuring Hammerdance Gaming. It pairs with the official news write-up of the same episode.
Nethaera corrects the Shaman deep dive: Elemental Mastery is removed. It was holding back Elemental's PvE damage because it would have made them too strong in PvP, so they get new spells instead.
Kaivax: Blizzard keeps banning beta accounts that botted gold or bought it. A warning about accepting gold from strangers is coming to trades, and the crackdown continues after launch.
Kaivax: buyers, not just sellers, will now face action for real-money gold, from gold removal up to account closure. Be wary of one-sided 'gifts' from strangers.

Podcast episode 3: host Countdown To Classic and guest Hammerdance talk dungeon leveling and questing with designers Aggrend, Jay Hartman and Rowan Ryder.
Mage talents get stronger school identities plus room for cross-school builds; Shaman totems and weapon imbues last longer and are quicker to manage mid-fight, with totem tracking and Totemic Recall.
Rogue poisons get more charges and can stack with temporary weapon enchants; Warlock Banes are split from utility Curses, and pets now scale with the Warlock's stats.
Responding to feedback, Blizzard is toning down the HD Skyborne Druid forms and building standard-definition (SD) Skyborne models, Druid forms included, targeted for early 2027.
Darkspear Islands is a new 15v15 battleground off Dustwallow Marsh for levels 30-60: hold four capture points, carry the central flag to a base you own, and first team to 2,000 points wins.
PvP progress is split into Honor (a currency for blue and epic gear sets) and Rank Points (a weekly-capped climb to High Warlord or Grand Marshal). Honor rates were evened out so Alterac Valley isn't the only efficient choice.
Priests get wider access to key tools and new healing, utility and Shadow talents. Warriors get more reliable Rage, some utility moved to baseline, and sharper roles for each spec.
The first class deep dive covers Hunter and Druid. Talents open at level 10 in the familiar tree layout, with a new 16-point milestone added to the 11/21/31 ones; some 1.12 talents stay exactly as they were.
At PAX Aus (Oct 9-11 AEDT), executive producer Holly Longdale opens with a keynote and Clay Stone gives a deep dive on one of Forever's new dungeons, both streamed on Twitch.
A Scarlet Monastery-themed Horde vs Alliance escape-room showdown streams Oct 23 on Warcraft's Twitch and YouTube; Toronto locals can play the room in person Oct 8-11.
More English Collector's Editions are on sale (limit one per household on the Gear Store), but restock orders ship in February 2027, after the Nov 4 launch. The game itself comes with a WoW subscription or game time.
The Legacy System is account-wide, horizontal progression made of Challenges, Perks and Rewards. Everything can be unlocked on one character, so alts are optional.
Forever is realmless, so characters get a first name plus a second name, and the full pair has to be unique across your region. You can hide your second name in the options.
Realm selection is replaced by rulesets (including Normal, PvP and Hardcore) that work as large player ecosystems. Moving between rulesets is deliberately limited.
The beta opened Sep 17 for invited veterans, press and fansites. Beta access also comes with the Skyborne Epic Pack and the limited Warcraft Forever Collection bundles.
BlizzCon roundup. For Forever: the Skyborne Heroic Pack includes the Skyborne race and Zephras Isle start, and the Epic Pack adds beta access and 30 days of game time from Nov 4.
